Prairie Flower Newsletter October 2022

Hello everyone. Hope you all are enjoying the colder weather. I sure am-more excuse to stay inside and sew! And of course the fall leaves make me happy.

First off, I wanted to give you guys some calendar reminders:
Jelly Roll Reveal is Oct. 23rd at 2:00. Bring your jelly roll quilt and any ideas for the next pre-cut sew-in. Can't wait to see the finished quilts.
Beginners Class 2nd session is Oct. 30th. Bring your machines and all your pieces. Hopefully we can see some finished table toppers/runners!
Mystery Quilt Reveal is the Nov. 7th!! Starting at 6. If anybody wants to, I was thinking it would be neat to bring our favorite Mystery Quilt from the past as well! I'm looking forward to  discussing next years plans too.
The Red & Cream Sampler BOM sew-in is on November 13th.
Simply Stars Quilt Along sew-in is on November 20th. This one would be a great stash buster. Please let me know if you are interested.
Flange Binding Class is November 28th at 5:00-6:00. Please sign-up if you are interested.

Second, I've got a new notion I'm excited about. It's called Binding Eaze by Quited Heartz. Great way to get those binding strips ironed faster! Here is a tutorial: Binding Eaze
I also have the Lemoyne Star Ruler in. Here is a tutorial on it: Rapid Fire Leymone Star  I'm sure some of you have done this in the past, but I have always wanted to make one of these quilts so thought I'd get the ruler in (because they do make life easier).

Also, wanted to mention if your men need ideas for gift ideas you can always send them here for a gift certificate!!! And quilt panels are still 20% off in October.
