Local historians claim the name 'Leoti' is an Indian word that means 'prairie flower'. Prairie flower seemed to be the perfect name for a blossoming idea for a little quilt shop in the middle of the Kansas prairie. Prairie Flower Quilt Co. grew out of the common love of quilting by four friends in 2009. Belinda, Deb, Janet and Sharla dreamed of a warm and inviting place where fabric, friends and fun would blossom.
